In 1936, G.H. Bass introduced the Weejun, the original penny loafer, inspired by traditional Norwegian moccasins and built using a hand-sewn tubular moc construction that still defines the model today. From Ivy League campuses to music subcultures and contemporary streetwear, the Weejun has crossed eras and styles without losing relevance.

Today, the penny loafer has regained a central role as an everyday shoe, valued for its comfort, versatility and timeless character. G.H. Bass continues to interpret it with consistency, preserving the construction quality that made it iconic.
